The Hooded Man

«The greenwood is the outlaw's friend. Now, the orphan boys make us welcome. No tax, no tied, nobody rich, nobody poor. Fair shares for all at nature's table. Many wrongs to be righted in the country of King John.»
Lady Marian - Cate Blanchett - Robin Hood (2010)

I will certainly make a point of seeing the film when I can, it will be good to see the interpretation.

Sadly the Sherwood area now bears little resemblance to the portrayal I have seen in previous films and tv series. Much of the woodlands has gone, but there are a few stands of trees remaining. Hopefully over time the woods will begin to take hold again.

Its good to see you keeping the spirit of the place alive Amos and great to see someone inspired by the legend of what was.

All the best from a fellow wanderer!

Thank you and likewise.

Yes, the physical forest is practically gone, but what it represents will never fade away.

The Sherwood Forest isn't a place, but a state of mind.
