The Amityville Horror

The Amityville Horror is one of the best-documented paranormal stories ever. It’s a series of events confirmed by dozens of independent witnesses and otherwise unrelated to the case. Many strangely hysterical people filled with animosity have called it a hoax, but its strength has not wavered in the thirty years since it happened, since it first called the world’s attention.

A family, George Lutz and Cathy Lutz with kids moved into a house where there had been a series of grisly murders the year before. Twenty-eight days later they fled the house in panic, victims of malevolent spirits, barely making it out alive and with their sanity somewhat intact.

It shows beyond doubt that the world is so much more than what we’re told it is. The world as we know it is really an illusion. Not in the sense that it doesn’t exist, but in its importance. The vast, true reality awaits us behind the velvet curtain.
